WarrantyVault is operated by Gary Walker-Jones as a free personal project. Your data is stored securely and never sold or shared with third parties.
Your name, email address, country preference, and a hashed password. Item details you enter: names, brands, models, serial numbers, purchase dates, prices, shops, warranty periods, notes, and any photos or files you upload.
Your personal information — your name, email, and account details — is used solely to operate your account. Your personal information is never sold, rented, or shared with any third party. Purchase data you enter may be used in anonymised, aggregated form for analytical purposes. This aggregate data does not identify you individually.
You can view, edit, export, and permanently delete all your data at any time from within the app. To raise a privacy concern email dev@walker-jones.eu.
Passwords are bcrypt hashed. Sessions use httpOnly cookies. Two-step verification is required at every login. PHP execution is blocked in the uploads directory.
WarrantyVault is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The operator accepts no liability for missed warranty claims, data loss, or any financial loss arising from use of this service.
Always retain your original receipts and manufacturer documentation for warranty claims. WarrantyVault is a record-keeping tool only and does not constitute legal proof of purchase.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
